A "HLP" for descent?
I was wondering if there was a place like HLP that /modded/enhanced the Descent games, and a place where i can download a port for windows (just like how you can download freespace from here)?

Thanks in advance

D2X-XL - Descent 1&II 4 Windows XP!  Check out the worklog for more info.

I hope this helps you out, although I don't think you're gonna find a download for Descent as easy to find because it has a different EULA to FS2. However, once you have it there is D2X-XL (for Descent 2) which has the enhancements and mods you require.

I have both DII and Destination Saturn.

Destination saturn doesnt work because it runs waaaaaaaay too fast.

does that fix it?

Cool... Destination Saturn.. hmm, yeah, it would fix that, as it runs a different executable.. not sure if it will work with the Destination Saturn files, though... Saturn is only levels 1-15, of the originall (22?)  See if you can get Descent full version...

There's like 2 of them there for $10 US after shipping, one anniversary edition (1996) and one CD-ROM version... this will get you the files so you can play the D1 campaign in D2X-XL.  Let me know if you need help setting it up.
