Hey I've been a HUGE Freespace/Freespace 2 fan from the beginning, and I haven't played the game in years.  Well acouple weeks ago I found this website, Downloaded Freespace 2, and beat it 3 times.  I don't know if I've missed something somewhere, or if I'm just looking in the wrong places, but is there anywhere to download Freespace 1?

Welcome!

If you want to play FS1, there's the FreeSpace port. It allows you to play the main FS1 campaign plus most custom campaigns of that game.

But keep in mind that there are about 85 custom campaigns in circulation, many of which are considered as good as the main FS2 campaign(and sometimes better). Check them out!

ERm..if you want to play FS1, you might want to download the HTL Athena and HTL Typhon....AFAIK they are not in the VP's or the Port.

I remember the days when whenever anyone had a question or anything we could throw them at Kara's faq no matter what and have the problem solved.

NO offences, to fans of FS Port. But i beleive the origional FS1 should be presented before FS2 Port. Lets give him the real thing first.

He might hate old graphics(I don't, I'm enjoying AC2 like I did 7 years ago).
