If any of you remember HardPoint 2 or 3, this is the next game in the series. It adds battleships to the field, and will eventually also have bombers, and if I can find some really good team members, netplay.

I used FreeSpace explosions, since it is a freeware game, but I may have to change that too when I make the final release. Also, I used Lightspeed's Neb01 through Neb18 in this. All other effects were made by me, but the Terran, Kyrn, and Vuntu fighters were revised by Turambar. I just wish I could persuade him to make some bombers for me :(

Also, thanks very much to MatthewPapa for giving me server space way back when. I probably should have confirmed with him that it was OK to use it for other stuff than my FreeSpace Turn-Based Strategy Game. I will do that as soon as I finish with this post.

I'd like to hear some comments from anybody interested.

I remember trying to make a new Carrier sprite. I wonder if I still have it around somewhere.

What dimensions does the total image have to be? 256x256?

Yes, carriers are 256x256, but the occupied part of the sprite needs to be similar to those already in the game.

Still, I am currently in the belief that it would be best to make BOMBERS!
