Here's a probably dumb noobie question for you all.  I already searched to forum for joystick and did not find an answer (probably because it's so simple that I'm the only idiot that can't figure it out  :D).

Anyway, I just installed The Babylon Project 3.4a, and I cannot get the game to use my joystick.  I don't know if I'm doing something wrong in the game itself or if it's something with the launcher or what.

The stick is a Saitek X52 rig.  The launcher has it selected, and it works fine in Windows and other games.  However, when I fly a mission, I get nothing from the stick, and when I go to the controls config, it will not read any inputs from the stick except the mouse buttons on the throttle quadrant.  They read as a normal mouse input.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?  I'm certain I've used this rig in FS2 Open before, so I don't think it's simply incompatible.  I suspect I'm missing a setting somewhere.  Something simple like "turn joystick on" or something in the game.

Not sure if these will help, but:

At the very least, they will help with other games that don't support your X52 (like DOS games that can run under XP).
