I didn't mean to imply any majority/minority status, I'm just trying to say there are those who take it too far and it turns into nationalism.

In moderation, aka not wanting to attack someone over thinking differently, it's a good thing.  Just like a person's personality, pride and confidence helps, but if you turn into an over-confident or over-prideful person you start stepping bounds and doing stupid things you'll regret later.

Ya.. but way to hijack a thread, eh?  That movie wasn't nationalistic.  Perhaps you thought the performer was extorting cash.

...But if you thought the people there were nationalistic nuts, why would you care if they wasted their money on a charlatan?  Think about that for a minute.

The money could go to much better use.

The publicity could go to much better use.

The paint could've went to much better use. 

How about spending the time and money helping the nations poor?  Donate to a charity such as the Red Cross?  Wouldn't that be a great way to feel good about your nation and make it look better in the process?
