I have little patience for people who deliberately try pushing it to see how far they can go without getting into trouble. I have even less patience for their whining when they find it's not as far as someone who cocked up but wasn't doing it to see when it would get them banned.

Well it's just color, and I thought we established that he wouldn't get hurt, and only get a very cool looking title (how many people get colored titles?).

It doesn't matter what it says, Mobius. Your title is a RAINBOW. How many people get to have a title like that? It looks pretty. You should be ever grateful.

Wouldn't it be better to talk about coloured text in this thread instead of, say, 'A celebration of FreeSpace' or 'Release - Derelict'? Not that anyone had brought it up in those threads but if you ask me, a thread called 'Colored text' is the place to talk about coloured text.

But we're not talking about colored text. We're talking about custom titles (apart from that fact they both begin with CT, I see no relation between the two).
