I think this is actually going to be a proper successor to Diablo II.

I want to get it the day it comes out, and i think this will be the first subscription game that i subscribe to.

I thought it was a bit of a disappointment.

I'd sort of assumed they were going to make an MMO that plays like an action RPG, not an action RPG that plays like an MMO.

mostly i'm happy for a good ARPG with secure online play.

if Titan Quest had had online secure character storage and lots of patches, I'd still be playing it.

Looks good might actually be getting this wasent planing to but the demo was really interesting

I played the Beta with my friends and we did like it quite a lot. I do have some complains about the character models, but maybe they didn't put the best ones in the Beta... dunno. Secondly, the game swapped like heck when I turned it off. Even more than BF2, which is quite an achievement IMO Thirdly, there was not enough control settings to my taste, I would have liked to set many actions into different buttons, but maybe one might be able to do it from text files, need to check that out.

Other than those, it was quite enjoyable, looked nice, and controls were mostly ok and playable.

I dig, allthough it looked like it had a memory leak problem (or something similiar) since it just freezed after a while and looked like it had eaten as much memory as there was available to be eaten. But perhaps this new patch released yesterday (5.11) took care of that, dunno yet.
Other than that no complains here, fun game.

Hmm. I played the full game for a while, and found that I was actually enjoying myself. Then a quest got bugged so I couldn't progress and apparently there's nothing I can do about it but restart my character and hope it doesn't happen again. Awesome.

I guess I'll come back to this game in a year when they've got it out of beta.

everything else aside, Hellgate has some kickass cinematics!

endgame is awesome.
