Hey, all. Here and there on Hard Light and FreeSpace Wiki, I note that it may be possible to fly Shivan ships in FreeSpace 2 by modifying the tablefiles. Can anyone help me on this?

However, if you just want to fly the ships as they are and don't want to bother with the other stuff, you just have to add "player_ship" to the ships.tbl flags and "Player allowed" to the weapons.tbl flags and stick the modified tables somewhere.

Or try the Shivan Data Files made by BlackHole . He had a 4-5 mission mini-campaign for it also , but I don't know where to download it anymore .

Yes then you are ALLOWED to fly the ships but in order to actually FLY them then you have to go into Fred and either make a mission or edit and existing mission to put it in.

By "ship" you mean spacecraft or warships?
