Noob question: Google Sketchup's can be converted to Freespace format?

It's a tut that shows how to import sketchup models into blender cleanly and easily. Doing it this way means that you could potentially save a PCS2 compatible COB straight from blender rather than doing heaps of format hopping, and more to the point, you could skip the truespaz step.

I've not tested it however, so I've no idea on the specifics.
