Looking back through my old Retail missions I noticed a strange event called client warp. Checking to see what it did I figured out that it forced ships on the client side of multi to warp out at the end of the mission. The transports depart into the docking bay of a Lucifer. Apparently in retail when the Lucifer warped out the transports were still show in game on the client side. Going from memory here but I'm thinking it was a packet loss issue that wasn't handled correctly. Anyone know if this was ever fixed? I'm going to try some testing but if it is a packet loss thing testing over my LAN won't be much help.
