Its suppost to be a Terran/Vasudan, Comunications Station (like a maned version of the shivan com-node), the bottom bit will rotate eventualy. and have a few more features of the sketch stuck on it.

I believe it may have originally been an Ancients ship, but it was retextured and I don't know either the INF or BP name for it.

The non-Dante 20km ultranaught seen in BP is the old, old Terran TFGJx Apocalypse which was originally intended for Machina Terra. Twas reskinned for BP, to fit in with the campaign, but the model's been floating around in some form or other since 2000 or so.

It was inspired by a rubish model (destroyer) i made, scraped the back and kept the front then multiplyed it by three.

I would like to see this model from Blue Planet too.

Most obviously the ship in question is the really, really, really big Vishnan ship in the second-to-last mission that a)was modifying the Delta Serpentis - Sol jump node so that the fleet could return to their own universe and b)duked it out with the Dante (the really, really, really big Shivan ship).

Its not like that's the only ship with it.
The SFg Damini from INF had those too... IIRC.

But yeah, we need to get back on topic.

I like the idea of a T-V Comm Node; given that the comm station in "A Failure to Communicate" was a repurposed Faustus, it'd free those sci vessels up for more interesting duties. And the model looks pretty cool to boot.
