Yesterday I was getting a car oil change and I decided to look through some of the magazines sitting in the pile. The one I decided to flip through was none other than Popular Science, the latest issue. So in this magazine of technological innovations, science fiction, and whatnot, there was a segment on cute little things you can build yourself, a slight explanation of how to do it, and the overall cost. This one guy built this flight simulator cockpit complete with NO STAND stickers in all the right places and a huge 32" screen or so in front of him for all his flight siming glory.
The GAME he was demonstrating was a completely different story. It WAS Freespace 2 with slight UI changes.. the 2 angled bars in the middle were vertical and the radar had a different background, but other than that, it was the same Font, same Wing status indicators on the right, same energy management on the bottom, same text format even! Popular Science was calling this game Battlestar Galactica though. Perhaps I'm missing something, maybe he built his own mod for Freespace 2, but what looked like the briefing stage on one of the pictures appeared to be

different.
EDIT: GOODNESS.. Here is it!
