Oh BTW, IIRC a ground based vehicle made the break through the sonic barrier. With two sideways attached aircraft engines. 640 horses sure is kinda loads a power, but this...

well it's 640 horses naturally aspirated.  you add a supercharger and two turbos, running at 22 PSI, and i plan on doubling that...

and yes, the internals will hold.  it's got a complete forged bottom end.  good for 28PSI or so.
