Question on new 175.16 Nvidia drivers
Hey all, I just got the new drivers released on the 16th, and everything looks just peachy.

One question though. My monitor runs at a maximum 720p HD format. Before I updated, the highest resolution I could crank my games or my desktop too was 1280X720. To go any higher, I'd have to turn up my HD format too 1080i, which allowed me to go as high as 1920X1080. But seeing as my TV only supports up too 720p (which is 0.92 million pixels), things (at least the desktop) would be blurry if I turned up higher.

Now, after updating, I noticed my monitor is still running at 720p format (as indicated by it's settings), but I'm able to crank my resolution to 1280X1024, and then way on too 1920X1080. My monitor shouldn't be able to support this without getting pixel blur (I forgot the proper term for it, i was under the assumption that it was called HD blur).

I played some games under the higher 1920X1080 resolution in the presumed 720p format, and they look even better. I've never seen edges so smooth. But I wonder if this is due to the resolution or the pixel blur.

So the questions are: Is this a bug or a feature with the new drivers? and if it's a bug, should I use it anyway if things look a little better?

P.S. Sorry if it looks like I'm bragging for people who don't have an HD setup for their computers, but I need to be specific to help find out about this :)
Fun while it lasted.

Then bitter.

He's using his television set as a monitor.

Yeah. Is there something wrong with that setup?

:snipe:

Sorry I didn't mention that.
