OK so what files are needed in a .10 mediavps folder?

OK I have the obvious ones:

MV_AdvancedEffects.vp
MV_Assets.vp
MV_Core.vp
MV_Effects.vp
mv_music.vp

but is there anything else I should have in there like the old 710 files or such?

Just want make sure I've got everything I need.

What are the 710 files for? Because I have those as well as those others.

3.6.8 Zeta had some alpha problems. Hence taylor releasing the 710 patches once the engine was corrected that revealed that the problem existed.

Remove them. As was already stated, they are for the 3.6.8's and if you have the 3.6.10's, you do not, I repeat, you do NOT need the bugfix vps.

Have the .10s been fixed yet (collision issues, etc)? I'd really like to play through FS1 and FS2 yet again, but I'd rather play with the old VPs than watch my missiles go right through a capship.

The old VPs had most of the issues and no, the beta VPs will not be updated until the final release.

That's sad. Being able to play through the original campaigns without issue should be a prerequisite for being an official release.

Well before this pending release there's never been any sort of MVP management team, so it was much much harder to avoid issues. One of the reasons this next one is taking so long is that we're trying to do exactly as you describe, but there are a _lot_ of issues we need to address first. ;)
Get the 2014 Media VPs and report any bugs you find in them to the FSU Mantis so that we may squish them. || Blender to POF model conversion guide
