Now i think The Game is over for me.
I cant scan the systems fast enough. They comes over me like a swarm of Hornets and kill me before i am done with scanning.
The problem: I don't find the subsystems of the d a m n Raider Base.
And i died now the 5 time and cant skip this mission.

Was nice to play, but now i am very frustrated.

Scan the big ship.

Scan the subsystems of the base. Use the S button to cycle through them, when you have the base selected as a target. Scan them like you scanned the ship.

Once done scanning, fly the hell away from the base.

If you fail the mission 5 times in a row, you CAN skip it. Of course, if you first fail it four times and then quit the game, it won't help if you fail it again on some other occasion. It must be five times in a row.

Come on, guy. If you can't finish raider war you will never win any other campaigns in TBP.

Actually I'd say this is the one mission in all the campaign you can skip without losing any of the plot. Though I'm surprised anyone would have to. It's not that difficult. The guy is going to really struggle when he gets to Showdown at the Pass and Loose Ends.

In the past i had never such problems with games like wing commander 1-4, Privateer, and other. but TPB has his own laws i think 

Now i am really pissed that i am hanging in this mission. But i think i will finish this Mission.

The main problem in this mission for me is to find the right places on this damn...base to scan..

The directives tell you which subsystems to scan. That's why they exist.

I had trouble with that mission the first few times as well, because I went too much in the role of hide and seek, heheh. Wasting time skimming asteroids and "dodging" patrols is a sure way of ending up being shred to pieces in a crossfire.
