looks great...but can the 300s director deliver on the amazing plot and story telling found in Watchmen?  We shall see, the movie isn't due for a year, so there is bound to be an actual story trailer.

It's one of the most, if not The, critically acclaimed comics in recent history. You should maybe read it if you can.

Watchmen was the first comic book (eventually graphic novel) to treat the characters as actual people in the real world, instead of simply two-dimensional heroes. It's the lynchpin that separates Adam West's Batman from Christian Bale's. It was almost single-handedly responsible for maturing comics from pulp entertainment into a legitimate art form, like films, novels, and theatre centuries before.
