I got one call yesterday, and replied with only "Yes."

"Are you Bruce?"
"(no) Yes."
"Would you like a Mastercard from RBC?"
"Yes."
Can I have your date of birth?"
"Yes."
"What is it?"
"Yes."

After a while he started saying things like "Do you speak English?". "Yes."

After that, he started saying hello whenever I said yes, and then I said "You know you're losing commission." and he hung up.
