For the last 5 years I have been trying to get my Freespace graphic novel off the ground.
I started with a story but when I revisited this project I found that I hated the original story and started another. I have been having some major snags with plot holes and trying to concisely explain all the information a non-Freespace fan can understand +new information not in the game. So I am asking for your help.
I am proposing a contest to write a brief plot outline based in the Freespace universe. I know this may seem like blasphemy but I would like to keep space combat to a minimum (I dont want ships flying around in various poses to make the majority of my project). Second I would like to have Terrans, Vasudans and Shivans involved in the story (This isnt a real requirement but it would be cool if someone could write all three together creatively). Other than that I ask you to explore your deepest creative impulses and just pitch ideas to me if you have them.
