Duplicate Texture performance.
Does it matter if PCS2 shows:

texture1
texture2
texture3
texture1

compared to:

texture1
texture2
texture3

Is it smart enough to optimize?

i think it does but im not sure. freespace goes by object then by texture. so if you have texture 1 on the ship and then texture 1 on a turret, then it woud be like drawing the texture twice.
