is the poly count on sub systems still limited to ~800ish?

To clarify - is it limited at all?
Rabbinic Judaism had a good start with the Old Testament but kinda missed the point about 2000 years ago

I'm pretty sure the only poly limit is how much people will yell at you for making thier game lag.
