Firstly, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put something like this. If it isn't, could someone move it?

Anyway, the idea in question is: Is it at all possible to make, say, a capital-ship mounted weapon that causes your HUD to shudder if you're anywhere near it when it goes off?

I've been toying around with the idea of making some big-ass two part turret mounted artillery, but it didn't feel right without the appropriate camera shake.

If you had a really deep rumbling sound and a good subwoofer you could get the same effect

It's probably possible though.  Just have to find an interested coder.

We have a camera shudder effect SEXPs, all we need is something like "has-turret-fired-delay" or similar.
