Flickering graphics/horizontal bars in 1440x900 mode

Hey guys, I'm having trouble with the graphics in FSO using 1440x900 resolution in all FS games and mods.

I tried to get a screenshot but it doesn't seem to show up in the screenshot, but whenever I have my resolution set at 1440x900 I get these really annoying horizontal flickering bars on the screen.  Any resolution below 1440x900 makes the bars go away but I'd love to play it at my full resolution.

I have the latest nvidia drivers, and my monitor does support this mode.

What build are you running?  Try the latest from the Knightly builds forum if you aren't using it. 

System specs especially OS and Video card?
No-one ever listens to Zathras. Quite mad, they say. It is good that Zathras does not mind. He's even grown to like it. Oh yes. -Zathras

I'm actually on a MacBook Pro bootcamped with Windows 7 (since it's the only one I can afford, aka free).  The video card is a GeForce 8600M, I have the latest drivers right from nvidias website.
