Ok using FSOpen. Shivan ships are just black without their usual red and some ships dont have thrusters. Anything I can do to fix this?

Did you turn on stuff like glowmaps? What version are you using? Are you using mediavps?

I just downloaded it (3_6_10) and I haven't changed anything at all.

Locate Launcher.exe and start it.

Select the 3.6.10 build from the Browse button on the very top of the window.

Select "Features" tab. Select "Graphics" List type. Enable glowmaps and while you're at it, you can select a whole lot of other stuff you probably have unselected...


If you need further help, please describe what exactly you are using; I assume you have the 3.6.10 MediaVP's selected but I can't be sure because of lack of information...
