Seems we could use some help from anybody with the time. We've narrowed down the range of time when autopilot was broken to March 15 2008 - August 30 2008. That's the range of commits to the actual autopilot files, so whatever broke it wasn't part of those commits. We know it was working in a stable branch build on March 16, but not a trunk build from August 18 (r4758). This is a big range, and since I don't really know what other areas of code would affect this I don't know how else to narrow it down other than divide and conquer. So if anyone who knows how to generate issues with the autopilot code now that didn't exist a year ago or more, could please start testing builds from the Recent Builds forum, it would be helpful. I would stay away from the Xt builds since those have a heavy amount of code not in the main branch, but any build which reports itself as a stable branch or trunk build with only one or two uncommitted features should work ok. This is a set of issues we'd like to have fixed before 3.6.10 final. If you don't know what I'm talking about you can get an idea by searching mantis for 'autopilot'. The more testing the sooner we can find out when these features broke. The coders who were maintaining autopilot haven't been the most active for some time so for another coder to pick it up it's going to take a bit more help to push it along, knowing what broke the autopilot is a big part of that and it's something that can be pinned down without coding. Thanks for any help we can get with this.
Edit: We may have narrowed down a set of changes to somewhere around mid march of 2008. Still could use some help if that's not a set of changes that affects any issues you know of.
