There aren't very many of those, unfortunately.
WE ARE HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS. YOU WILL LOWER YOUR FIREWALLS AND SURRENDER YOUR KEYBOARDS. WE WILL ADD YOUR INTELLECTUAL AND VERNACULAR DISTINCTIVENESS TO OUR OWN. YOUR FORUMS WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

Study stuff like Geology and you'd learn. I was all against Creationism and now that I'm attending my specific courses my position is strengthening.

Religion isn't anything near to Nature in terms of fascination, complexity, variety, coolness, etc. etc.. Saying "God created everything as we know it, evolution didn't occur" is an insult to billions of years of interesting events.

Bolded stuff is an insult to any thinking religious person too.

Not really. If they were thinking about it they'd stop with the dogmatic bull**** and realise that the six day creation story in the bible could be symbolic and thus wouldn't directly contradict evolution.

It's only people who refuse to think about their own religion beyond the words on a page who come up with comments like the one you bolded.

I repeat, those bolded words are an insult to a really thinking religious person.  Perhaps it is possible that I haven't posted "the six day creation story is symbolic," but I thought I had.

(Hmmm, I may be taking this the wrong way.  It occurs to me that your comment might not apply to me be directed at me for being an idiot.)

And I repeat that is they are denying the existence of evolution, they aren't doing much thinking.

My stance is this:

God did create everything.  We don't know how long ago it was.  Evolution is a crock.  Show me something that is between a reptile and a bird, the intermediary stage.  Hell, even a fossil would work.

You don't believe in God because there is no empirical evidence.

I don't believe in Evolution, which BTW a lot of people treat like a religion with this scientist or that biologist as the High Priest, without empirical evidence.

Faith works both ways people.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.
