Please need help...
For some reason I can't figure out how to do simple things, like Spawn ships only when the players ships reaches a certain NAv.  I set it up when the Player hit's Alt+A then the ships spawn and i reduce the radars range.

That works, but it can't work for multiple nav ships.  How do I overcome this?

Also, how do I make a directive text disappear after it's accomplished, are there any tutorials on this?

And why when ships are added to a wing, there weapon load out cannot be edited?

Directives change color as soon as they're accomplished. You can't remove them from the list. An accomplished directive will disappear only if the list of directives is full.

And why when ships are added to a wing, there weapon loadout cannot be edited?

You're probably trying to change their loadout by choosing the wing as a whole (Editors ---> Wings). You need to do that with the normal ship editor (Editors ---> Ships). :)

Yes when I try that they are all greyed out for some reason. 

What I mean on my first question is, when I create a NAv, and I autopilot to the NAv, how do I get the ships to spawn only when I get to the nav and not just be there when the mission starts?

You need to change their arrival cue. Choose the wing or ship in FRED and edit its arrival cue (the default cue is "true").

Right click on "true" and replace it with:

<                 <--- it stands for "less than"
   distance
     Player    <--- write the name of the spacecraft the player is flying
     Nav        <--- waypoint's, not navpoint's, name
    1200       <--- distance in meters


I also suggest to set proper location values. Right above "true", you can find a series of options. Set them as follows:

Location: Near Ship
Target:  Player  <--- replace it with the name you're using
Distance: 2500  <--- you can set a different distance, of course
Delay: 0    <--- ignore this, for now (it's related to waves)

I figured you need to do this, but when I got to do the less then sign, I get two strings under it.  I dont' have the option to put the Distance operator below it. it, that's what I am stuck on.

I do actually, I don't want to be annoying.  I want to create a Wing Commander 1 campaign, using the older ships and older pilots.  I know I can't make a remake because i don't feel like getting sued lol, but a whole new campaign, with a different hero maybe i don't know yet.  My question is when I make the characters I don't mind useing the Kilrathi Icons and Helmet icons from the ANI files, but how do I change the default talking like, when you say to form up, or they have to eject stuff like that.

Those are aumomatic messages that depend on the sender's persona. The persona can be changed via the Ships (not Wings) Editor - you can find it on the right side of the editor's interface.

I'm not an expert of WCS, but I know for sure that you should be able to find a reliable documentation somewhere. I have a limited documentation, but it may be outdated. Please note that if you want to get rid of these messages (called "built in messages") you can use the SEXP disable-builtin-messages (use enable-builtin-messages for the opposite effect). You can also use the Ship Editor to prevent a unit from sending built in messages. Edit Ship ---> Misc ---> Disable Built-in Messages.  :)

Here's the (possibly outdated) table file I have. If you want a specific spacecraft to send Major Baws' built-in messages, for example, all you need to do is changing that spacecraft's persona to "Wingman 03".  :D
