Help! I've never seen this before!

So I tried fixing Kvasir's "36 normals capped to zero" error in FRED 3.6.11 r5548, but now it crashes FRED and FreeSpace over this:

Assert: num_faces <= MAX_INS_FACES
File: modelread.cpp
Line: 2050

I've never seen this before.  Can someone please tell me what is wrong?

Insignia or the model is too complex. Maximum insignia faces is 10

I frown upon this situation.  Kvasir has 5 insignia pads, each with 2 faces.  That's 10 faces, unless the rules of mathematics got rewritten since school started again. I'll pull one pad out and see if that fixes it.
