I don't really expect anyone of the modellers here to have enough time to fulfil my wish, but asking doesn't hurt, does it?

Well, since I'm a very bad drawer, I can only vaguely describe what I think of:
Basically I have some sort of Minbari-Drakh-Combo in mind, meaning the vessels are higher than long, look like the include organic components and they use gravitational engines, so you don't see any engine wash.

If my plan of having new ships built won't work, I'm just gonna use the nightmare vessels. But since I recently heard that the creator of these models would like to just forget them, I thought I just ask wether someone can build me complete new ships.

You ditched your plans for using the Minbari???
You know if using the Minbari models is a problem because of the the whole TBP staff being all gone long ago sort of thing, you could always ask those OSS guys. They've got a lot of minbari models.



I might recommend that you give the modellers some more specific ideas about what's required. How many ships and/or fighters would you need for example? 1 cruiser, 1 corvette, 1 destroyer??? 3 fighters 2 bombers?? that sort of thing.

For my perspective, building a new race might be lots of fun but I have serious doubts about my ability to follow through. Hopefully there are some more diligent modellers here to help you out. I could possible do some poor-looking concept art though . . .

I realized that getting those Minbari models would be way too much trouble for me because of all that IPAndrews issue. Furthermore, it wouldn't have been very creative, though the idea of a FS-TBP crossover still provides some attraction to me. Let's just forget about it.

The nightmare ships aren't that bad, and they have everything I need: One fighter, one bomber, one cruiser and two bigger vessels.
Well, new textures wouldn't be fine, but since everything gets high-polied these days, I'm sure someone will take care about the nightmares one day as well.
