Having just found this short a half hour ago, it is apparently almost 6 years old - and still one the most moving shorts I've ever seen.

I didn't think it was *that* depressing. I mean, I thought it was sad and all, a little bit moving, but then again, I'm usually not affected much by this kind of stuff.

On the other hand, I like the style of the thing, quite well done in my opinion. The music was also quite effective at evoking emotion.

Very sad, but so beautiful at the same time.  I just wish the creatures didn't remind me so much of Raving Rabids.  Still, an easy 5 stars. :3

It didn't do a whole lot for me.  There's being loose with a narrative, and then there's loosening it to the point where one no longer has a real connection to the characters; this struck me as being the latter case.  The actual style and design was very good, though.

I love the noir style. I thought it was touching, and deeply captivating.
