HUD feature request: Target Leech effect indicator
Heya, me again.

It occoured to me today that the player, to my knowledge, has no indicator telling him that any leech weaponry he's using (like the Leech Cannon or Lamprey) are having an affect on the target, other than the target slowing down or the shields lowering (which could be anything).

Was thinking maybe having some kind of indicator would be handy. No need for anything snazzy; my thought was perhaps having a copy of the thunderbolt from the little "ENG" icon (its visible on the hud options image in the centre above the reticules, but i dont think i've ever actually seen it in game) made to appear in the corner of the targeting box when the target is being leeched?

I know this seems trivial considering how little people use leechers, but one of the campaigns i'm planning involves a player faction whose primary sidearm is part-leecher and its a central part of their fighting strategy, and i occoured to me other people's campaigns may involve the same.

Cheers

(sorry i keep putting up requests like this; always coming up with crazy ideas :sigh:! Hopefully when i graduate from Uni and have more time i can look into LUA and actually try coding stuff rather than bothering other people with it).
