Word of advice:
If you're not going to learn how to model and limit yourself to my level then stop trying to work with models of that calibur. Anything from sci-fi meshes.com or the force.net (liek that model's read me says it came from) are RENDER high poly quality.
What you want are Game quality models, especially if you're doing it yourself!
Basically you have a model that has about 10 times the amount of polygons you actually need and can handle.
Instead of trying to work with it and poly reduce it sufficiently and struggle to maintain a certain level of visual quality you might as well DL the rip off version from a luddie pack off fs2sector (Trek section)
After all that model is a ST drydock (Francisco class I think) obviously... Even though it was posted on a Star Wars site.
I think there was one in the pack for under 2k already in pof form. You'll have to look for it yourself I don't remember which fed pack its in and want nothing to do with those mdoels. I got associated with his bull**** and it tarnished my rep a little in Trek circles for a time.
Here: Page 3 & 4 have all the Fed packs Luddie uploaded. I think he has 1-2 Drydocks in them. I really don;t remember as I lost eh one I personally converted myself.
