The fleet is correct, but it's called "1st Fleet" or "Home Fleet", not "1st Fleet Sol".

I like the badge, looks decently cool. :) However the font, while it suits the badge, doesn't hit the 'badass nerve' within me.

It's part of an Ubuntu initiative to help people identify with their squadmates. There is no 'u' in 'sqadron'!

Besides, look at what the internet has done for general literacy in a really short amount of time; in this far out future it'll be a wonder if the human kind will still be able to write at all, let alone spell "squadron" correctly :P

Seriously though, good work. Personally, I'd have taken the ship pictures in the badges and traced them in illustrator as vector art, then discarded the original pics. Just to get more of an illustration feel to it - then possibly play around with it in Photoshop to get a fabric texture feel to it. Just a personal preference, though - badges are fine the way they are.
