This is /possibly/ but unlikely multi related, I think it's more to do with the way I have my media vps for multi at the moment due to validation problems.

Video of symptoms.
I've had this bug on three seperate occasions, going to be doing some more digging tomorrow (possibly in the morning if I'm awake enough).
For now, this is a postit note so that I don't forget, and also a chance for anyone else to look at it and take guesses so that I might have more things to check.
Debug log will be present tomorrow as it's now 20 to 3 in the morning and I have work :P
"Neutrality means that you don't really care, cuz the struggle goes on even when you're not there: Blind and unaware."

"We still believe in all the things that we stood by before,
and after everything we've seen here maybe even more.
I know we're not the only ones, and we were not the first,
and unapologetically we'll stand behind each word."

Debug log to go along with it.
More testing later as I couldn't repro the crash in the little time I had before I have to go to work.

Humor me and try disabling MV_AnimGlows.vp and see what happens. You may also want to try older Catalysts in case this is one of those things newer drivers have broken.

Code: [Select]
OpenAL ERROR: "Invalid Enum" in g:\fso\fs2_open_0\code\sound\ds3d.cpp, line 52
OpenAL ERROR: "Invalid Enum" in g:\fso\fs2_open_0\code\sound\ds.cpp, line 1616
SOUND: g:\fso\fs2_open_0\code\sound\ds.cpp:1291 - OpenAL error = 'Invalid Operation'
There's **** ton of first two errors. Have you tried different sound settings? Like using software sound instead of hardware, or vice versa? Have you tried disabling EFX? Have you tried OpenAL Soft?
