"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

I think the real miracle is that you've managed to teach her the proper machinations of toilet paper at such a young age. :p

I was going to go d'aaaawwwww, but then she wiped her butt.

I guess I have BOUNDARY ISSUES, but I was kind of put off my very nice lunch by watching a 2 year old hang a ****. Thankyou for that experience.

....Eh, **** it. D'aaaawwwww. That really was pretty cute. Even with the ****ting.

i can't have kids because i would let them fall in the toilet and drown rather than go in there with them to supervise

I'm a CNA, and the older brother (by minimum 9 years) of three little boys. I don't get how it's that disturbing to you all. (not judging, but I just don't have that reaction.)

Re: My (Daughter's) First YouTube Video
perhaps because i have no memories of using the bathroom with family members in the room or vice versa?

(likely because potty training me involved switching diapers for underwear and letting me figure it out on my own)

*not recommended if you have light colored carpets.. :3

Re: My (Daughter's) First YouTube Video
LOL Sweet kid.

A friend of mine is an Ambient musician, he got his 4-year old daughter to make quotes from Dune to use in his music... "My brother is coming Emperor, with many Fremen Warriors!", he also sampled her having a tantrum and made a version of 'Right on Time' to use for later leverage. I think its just a 'Dad' thing ;)
