hi i have a noob question about fred 2 open.....

whenever i try to put a new wing name on the mission itself it only shows up with 3 characters
eg if my wing name is Dusk on the mission specs thing on the hud display it appears as Dus.......

i did name all of the alphas Dusk tho...

Unfortunately only the first three letters of a wing name will show up on that display.

oh really how come if i put alpha it will apear as Alpha not alp???

Solution: Use RED wing instead.

But yeah, its always been like that, I don't give a damn that Blue turns out BLU or Assassin turns out ASS.

Now I am confused. Are we talking about in game actually flying around? Briefing? Some FRED display?
