Creating a custom soundtrack...
Hey guys,
I've been reading over how to create a custom soundtrack in the wiki, and forgive me for this total n00b question, but I can't find my audio files' sample frequency. I'm sure it's somewhere obvious and I'm just not looking in the right place but yeah... help me out here?
Thanks.
[16:57] <CommanderDJ> What prompted the decision to split WiH into acts?
[16:58] <battuta> it was long, we wanted to release something
[16:58] <battuta> it felt good to have a target to hit
[17:00] <RangerKarl> not sure if talking about strike mission, or jerking off

[17:00] <CommanderDJ> hahahahaha
[17:00] <battuta> hahahaha
[17:00] <RangerKarl> same thing really, if you think about it

And now, for a bit less useless answer, open the music in any player you have, and look at the properties of the file, it should list the sampling frequency. (most often it will be 44.1kHz, or 44100 Hz )

I thought it'd be something simple like this. Thank you.

Play-sound-from-file ftw

That SEXP is rather awesome.

Re: Creating a custom soundtrack...
Probably not really needed but if you want to set up audio the old fashioned way and what not, Audacity is good and -freeeeeee-.
I have created a masterpiece.
