Re: What about new missiles
I got the blueprints for the Horten  H IX and H XVIII in my bagpack. I´m just look for the Greif He177.
Peter

If it's of any use, I've found some model kit instructions (in PDF format) for the He 177 A-6 version on Revell's website: http://www.revell.com/support/instructions.html - look for stock number 80-4306. The final four pages have profile and plan views. I have no idea about how accurate they are.

Another source that might be helpful is this page on Der Adler Tag: http://www.deradlertag.info/2009/01/heinkel-he-177-greif.html

The site Der Adlertag is very intresting.

I'd extract the Go 229 model from IL-2: 1946 but the last time I tried it with the Bf-109E I ended up with a lump of blocky mess in Blender.
This Fritz-X on the screens was made on scratch but can be made via beziercurves(Blender) or Nurbscurves(Truespace)
With the other models is it also possible to do this way.

If i can´t model any ship then i use "flying trains" :-)

Re: What about new missiles
No problem. Also, don't feel that you have to model that particular plane just because I suggested it. There were other planes like the Ju-388 and Do-217k that could carry it, but you can model whatever you like, and given that Free Skies is an alternative history setting, we don't necessarily have to stick solely to real historical aircraft and weapons.

Re: What about new missiles
I ´m not only on a tracks of Freespace2 and FSO,i´m also modelling for Modelleisenbahn 2008 and Rule The Rail.
Now i can choose for them to make a flying circus or a museum of WWII aircrafts. any aircrafts will follow same as fantasy in stile of WWII and soon coldwar aera and many prototypical as i can do.

That's cool. It's nice to have someone as keen and talented as yourself willing to work on FSO. :)

Going on the topic of missiles whatever happened to the rest of the FS2 missiles that were HTL'ed?

(Avoiding necroing that thread)

Re: What about new missiles
Hi Commander,
I´ll also look for the FS-Missiles that not HTL´ed yet. First i´ve to get this in the right format. and then i´ll continue with  more of them.
The fighters/bombers and other crafts will be shown in another topic.

Re: What about new missiles
They all have an HTL model now, last I asked about them their maps were being worked on, but it's been a good while since then.

Re: What about new missiles
That IL-2 Go 229 I created a Skin Template several years ago and made plenty of skins for it as well. I put the template along with many of my other templates up for the community to use. I later found out someone used one of my skins in some sort of add-on that you pay for WITHOUT my permission as it's stated in my templates and skins. After that, I stopped uploading my templates and kept them to myself.
It was fun creating them and giving them out to others for them to create some nice skins. :) Good luck on your model.
Got Shivans? The SOC Ezechiel is the schnitzel! Don't leave base without it.
