So maybe somebody can enlighten me on this, I simply just cant seem to convince the a.i. to be link its primary weapons all of the time. As far as I can tell $AI Always Links Energy Weapons: simply does nothing. I've set it to 100, 90, 10, 5, 0. Nothing. The A.i. always picks the third bank (with smart weapon selection on, with smart selection off, it just picks the first one).
$AI Maybe Links Energy Weapons: also doesn't seem to do a lot.

in the ai_profile.tbl set

Yup, still super sour about this.

A.I. is consistently only using a single bank against enemy fighters, they only link when attacking capital ships.

Im willing to look into this more closely together with you just because wod is awesome and you seemed so pissed off in irc i tried to go over the function with you but i think we need to get deeper into this with custom debug builds maybe you can find me in irc in about 12 to 14 hours from now and well get to the bottom of this
