Be on the lookout for frisky deer hopped up on drugs!

Italian police busted two would-be marijuana cultivators after "unusually frisky" deer alerted the authorities as to the presence of their mountaintop dope plantation, UPI reports.

Locals in Trento began telling tales of the abnormally high-spirited animals, while forest rangers began to wonder why the normally shy and straight-laced cervine population was letting it all hang out by day and "making great leaps on the mountainside".

Rangers duly made their way to the top of the suspect mountain, and discovered "some plant pots and shredded marijuana". The pair responsible for the high-altitude high facility - a factory worker and a university student in their 20s - were cuffed when they ascended the peak on a harvesting mission.

Despite the seemingly damning nature of the prosecution's case, defence lawyers say the charges may yet be dropped since the deer had eaten most of the evidence. Reports that some Trento residents were awoken from their beds at 2am by pothead Bambis demanding bowls of Rice Krispies are unconfirmed. ®

What? Hunting in Italy?

Some weeks ago, the airport of Milano Linate has been forced to close for some hours in order to capture some rabbits that lived near the taxiways and risked to cause serious accidents if caught in the engines. But environmentalists refused to organise an hunting day to remove the threat, so there has been an extremely costy non-lethal hunt.
And the problem has not been resolved

Some people take animal rights too far. People have been eating animals for thousands of years. While I agree that some animals are kept in deplorable conditions, I eat mainly organic and so I don't support this anyway. I wonder what was going through the minds of the deer?

Wow man! Doesn't grass taste great. I mean I eat grass every day but doesn't it taste great! I could eat it every day and I'd never get bored of it cause it tastes great. I love grass. It tastes great.

I've always thought the best deterrent to pot smoking is just to video tape them and play it back to the smoker once the effects wear off.

And if that doesn't work, blackmail them with it.

organic just means they dont kill the bugs and they use real poo as fertiliser. im sick and tired of all the hippie food on the shelves at the store, i cant cook with this ****. i whant my chemicals damn it!

The main reason that I eat organic is because of allergies to certain chemical additives.
