Encouragement for the crew
G'day all,

I would just like to say a big thankyou to magic in particular but also karl, Starman (MIA) , Rollin, ThorC, Wolfman-x (for keeping it alive)  and anyone else involved in modifying this great game.

I know from reading between the lines both here and over at DC that magic is feeling a little unloved and unappreciated but that is untrue.  I have lurked around here for ages and check back almost daily to see if anything is new.  I wish I had some programming skills beyond editing .fit files so I could offer some help but alas I do not.  I understand the pressures of family and work but I really hope you do not give up yet.  I have loved the changes and look forward to the rest then maybe I will finally have a crack at making a campaign of my own.

So to everyone out there who has played MCO send a message here to say Thankyou and encourage the crew to keep going until the end.

Re: Encouragement for the crew
I'd love to help with any programming, but I, unfortunately, don't have the skills necessary. All I can do is make a few 3D models, but those don't always come out well. I might have a chance to learn programming in C++ or C some time soon, however.

Even though I haven't gotten a chance to play MCO in a while, and I might have missed a lot of things, I must say that most of the updates to this game are great! So thank you Magic, Karl, Starman (who is apparently missing), Wolfman-X, and everyone else who has made at least any contribution to this great strategy game.
(I might give myself a clap for trying to make the Champion, but it was really mostly Karl's work, so I probably should give him the credit for it)

Re: Encouragement for the crew
I have to agree with CaptainSlide, there's been an enormous amount of work put into MCO and I know that I appreciate it, even if I've only had the chance to play it a couple times so far (just found out about it a week ago).   As someone who's done modding of games in the past, I can make a pretty good guess that the number of people who participate in a forum are very few compared to those that download and enjoy your work, but that doesn't mean that they're not appreciative.

If I had the time I'd offer to lend a hand, even if in a very small way as I do have some (not a lot) of experience modeling and I've done a very small amount of basic scripting for some games.   Currently I have my hands full working on another project and I don't see myself having much time to devote to something else, but if time ever frees up in the future, I'd be happy to at least give this a shot.   For now, however, I'll just do what I can in giving bug reports when I can, because I know that's helpful to the developers, even if it's not as fun as getting help in the actual work.
