Now that I'm done making my pointless topic of the day, I'll make a somewhat meaningful one.
Everyone on HLP always talks about...... news.... or stuff they're currently doing or going through....... or religion..... or anything really. But no one talks about the past.
So I've made this topic so we can share our childhood experiences with each other. If you want to. It can be happy, sad, whatever. Just tell your story and say what you got out of it or why it was meaningful to you.
I'm going to start out with a story about when I was really little. I got curious one day so I took a shovel with me and went to an anthill. I started digging up the anthill and dug a huge hole but never found anything. For some reason I left the shovel turned upside down. The next day when I got home from school I turned the shovel over and there were ants everywhere and it scared the mess out of me. What was even scarier was when I woke up the next morning and I went downstairs to get some cereal for breakfast. I turned the light on and there were ants all over the floor of the kitchen. Regular ants and flying ants. My mom totally freaked out. I got scolded pretty bad.
This, along with other bad experiences dealing with the out-of-doors world, led me to gradually avoid going outside.
Another bad out-of-doors experience involved wasps. Lots of wasps. And trampolines. I'm going to save that one for later.
