so I'm thinking of sometime soon setting up various fred missions with each of the cruisers, capships, and other various ships (ones I've added for fun) to see how far a distance they travel when warping in. I figure I can set up sentry guns every 20, 50, or 100 meters (I think the game uses meters, correct me if I'm wrong, and I may make the intervals higher) and go to roughly where their middles lines up with a sentry. I know I get frustrated trying to estimate how far ships will move when I set them up and have them warp in. I figure this will help, and can prob be something the wiki can use. What do you guys think? and who would I contact to add that to the wiki?

If it's not already there, you just get yourself a wiki account and add it yourself.

I'd agree that the information is useful to FREDders, that's why it used to be available on FREDzone.

Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

FREDZone was somewhat unreliable though.  Some of their numbers measured warp distance from the front of the ship, other numbers measured it from the center of the ship, and still others were simply wrong either way.  If you add the information to the wiki, make sure you clearly specify how you arrived at it.
