i keep getting this error whenever i launch POFCS2:


My computer doesn't have program files (x86), it just has program files

I`ll bite. 

 You did not say if you tried this, but have you tried to reinstall it.
 If so, then i`m in no means a programer, but i`d try putting in the "temp" directory in manually.
 
Thats about it for me, but someone more imformative than me will most likely know whats going on and give you the correct fix.

you probably have a bad path in your ini

2 things, the paths arent in the format youd expect they all have \\ instead of \. for example

d:\\freespace2\\

according to your error message  it cant find the temp path, so verify that the path exists, which is:

temp_path=<appdir>\\temp\\

so be sure theres a temp folder in your pcs2 folder.
