Offensive Countermesures/ Glide -A.I

Is this possible to make AI, use countermesure if enemy fighter is right behind it?
Also
Afterburner-> Glide, alows ship to maintain max speed while gliding. Is this possible to make A.I utilize this while flying long distances?
