I'm a total sucker for Civilization games! I got them all, from Civ 2, to Call to Power, Call to Power 2, and Civ 3. I consider call to power 1 a bit better than call to power 2, casue the AI was in my oppinion better in it. As well as having that weird Cyberdyne thingie as a wonder that casued everyone in you're civ to be happy, but had a 1/5 chance of becoming self aware and leaves you're civ to make its own. Heh, and that happened to me. I had this giant global spanning civ, with citites under the ocean and in space, with this 300 year old war with France, and I finally get shield domes on all my cities, and guess what? My Cyberdyne thingie becomes self aware, grabs a few cities, along with the one that controls the shield systems, and starts a new civ. I got so pissed! Though it tried to be friends with me, I basically just went after it until I managed to capture the city with the shield systems, then finally TOTALY flattened the Cyberdyne city. Fun game!
But the best Civ type game I've ever played has to still be Imperium Galactica 2. That kicks all ass!
