With my recent ill-gotten war funds  I treated myself to a PlayStation 3. I'm a PC user at heart but I won't begrudge myself a counter-part to my 360

Does the PS3 actually has any game that aren't available on all other platforms ? I know the 360 has the Halo serie...

Uncharted, Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance, Disgaea, Infamous, Heavy Rain, FFXIII Verses, GT, LBP, Killzone, MAG, MGS...
I've missed a craptonne but those are the good ones

While, in its first couple years of life, the PS3 lacked exclusives, Sony compensated so hard that they've actually now got more exclusive franchises than the 360.  Nobody really realizes that, though, since the reputation of the PS3 not having any games (nevermind exclusives) got set in so early, and Sony doesn't ever make a big marketing production over the PS3's full library.

Anyway, I'm not a PS3-owner, myself, but I felt the need to respond, as I don't like seeing stereotypes perpetuated, after their expiration date.

Don't have too many games for it myself: only got it for the Disgaea series and a few Japan-exclusive titles (PS3's are not region-locked).

Also managed to hunt down Einhander on the PSN. That was fairly awesome, because that game is pretty much impossible to find anymore in physical form.

I also have the Bioshocks on it, but they aren't PS3-exclusives.

I played Fight Night Round 4 (not PS3 exclusive) to death, but I hear Fight Night Champion is even better. Resistance is the only PS3 exclusive game I have, and I only played the first one.

I hear that the LittleBigPlanet games are very fun, but I have never tried it.

I'm lucky enough to have it, though I haven't managed to beat it.  I think that PS1 demo disk that came with the console was responsible for half of my purchases on it.

I don't have a PS3 yet, but I'll probably get one at some point.  If nothing else, it saves having to buy a separate Blu-ray player.
