I should expand upon what I was saying.
I only play ArmA. It focuses on a lot of team work if you get into the clan side of things rather than public matches/servers.
While DayZ is has become very successful and popular, it doesnt interest me in the slightest. However, the 4 hours I did clock into it were somewhat enjoyable at times.. it did wear off quickly.
But is has given a huge influx of players into the genre, even if they have no concept of anything ArmA other than DayZ. But bringing the DayZ mod into a standalone game with ArmA seems to be a pretty good move, atleast optimization wise.
