Yes, in my brain. Because I read things as they would be spoken, I read this like somebody was sitting here, taking 2 second pauses at every period, mispronouncing "anniversary" and everything else. And it did cause literal psychological pain, whereby, I cringed. 
Hmmm. I wonder if this is just that you are unusual or it can happen to others? I also read as if someone is speaking, but when I run into this garbage, my brain just filters out the garbage and filters in what should be there, though it does slow my progress. Unless it's so unintelligible that I don't know what it's supposed to be. That is if I don't just ignore it.
I decided to read it literally. I did feel strange and after I finished there was a bit of pain at the upper sides of my head at the back for a moment. How strange. I wonder if it's the stop start stop thing.
