Cronus and the Ships
The July/August issue of Analog carries my mythopoeic SF story 'Cronus and the Ships'. Alas it is not online and I don't think I can post it without breaking contract, but hey, keep your eyes open! I've got more work coming up in Strange Horizons.

Print-only editions?  How quaint :P

Re: Cronus and the Ships
I actually was reading a physical book on the Roman Legions the other day, went to turn the page and attempted to use the finger swipe command for an ebook reader.  Before I even finished the motion I started laughing at the foolishness of it.

Re: Cronus and the Ships
Tell me, did any of your books get foreign editions (Polish, in particular)? English books tend to be horribly overpriced around here, and I'd like to give one of them a shot.

All of my fantasy stories in Beneath Ceaseless Skies are available for free here (it is a paying market for authors though, never fear) http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/authors/seth-dickinson/

More 'tutta stories! Yay! :D  Boo that I left my nook at home :(
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Re: Cronus and the Ships
This Analog, right?
I wonder which would be the best way to get a .pdf of it. Does the Kindle edition include a non-kindle readable file? (wow that sounded silly)

That's really nice. I'll check them out. I'm looking into writing some SF on my own, so I guess I could learn a thing or two from you. :)

Yeah, that Analog, but I'm hesitant to recommend buying it for my story alone as it's short and not super great compared to my others on BCS.

Re: Cronus and the Ships
Is there a list somewhere of the available works you have written (free or otherwise)?

Aside from a not-really-a-sale in Asimov's and the Analog story, everything is in the quote above.

Yeah, it's up on Asimov's, though they butchered the formatting. http://www.asimovs.com/pdfs/Stories/TheImmaculateConceptionofPrivateRitter.pdf
